Charts the Other Way Round?

When we come across charts, we are more prone to relate it to Maths. In language, we often use 'graphic organisers' to replace charts in order to conduct writing / review activities after reading.

Ker is going to share some graphic organisers which can be commonly applied after reading picture books among beginners.

Introduction: Why is reading essential? Let pictures and quotes speak all.

As shown are environmental-friendly-benefits of books as compared to electronic products.

No one is too ignorant to realise the importance of reading, for its importance has been confirmed since long long time ago.
Therefore, the blogger (Ker) is going to list some of its benefits through pictures and quotes as visual-readings are always more fun, attractive and attempting for reading-beginners.

1.
It is a friend who will never leave or turn our back.

If parents have not much time to keep our children in company or feel unsafe to let them play with others in the neighbourhood, replacing our children's friends with books is definitely a wise choice.

2.
As we read, we shall become more and more humble.
When we're at this stage, I'm sure that one has fallen in love with reading and this is the stage where children will pick up a book involuntarily. The continuous hours-after-hours-reading is going to be astonishing especially when we put ourselves in the roles. As we read, we become more curious as time goes by too. We'll be interested to engage in new experiences and embrace the unknown in life.

3.
This is how we feel when we have read literature at least once
I have only completed two literature readings in my life, which are Pride & Prejudice and Jane Eyre. I don't read anymore ever since because I'm picky towards literature's themes. I prefer emotional, love-themed but not as wretched as Romeo & Juliet. I prefer realistic love literature where women are being idealistic about life, promoting gender equality in their era as well as being independent. When we read books which we have mutual feelings for, chills will approach us from head to toe, making us emotional and full of empathy, as if 'words of prophets' are being clicked.

4.
When we get ourselves the right self-development books and
that we are eager to change, it will happen.
There were times when we were rushing to be a better-self which leads to buying the wrong self-development books which is mostly of bestseller. However, sadly, changes won't happen when we have read the wrong books. Choosing the right book is just as important as choosing the right pair of shoes. It's unnecessary to wear shoes which don't fit as we won't be comfortable nor will be we able to walk properly. Nevertheless, if we are lucky enough to get ourselves the right books, the story will be on the contrary and that's why I could relate myself into this point relevantly.

5.
When we read to keep ourselves out of the hustle and bustle in life,
miracles will happen.
Have you ever tried to read a book whenever you're feeling upset for something which is private or you would rather post it in the social media platforms in seek of comforts? If that happens again next time, I would like to encourage us to find any book to read. Only by experiencing this ourselves, we'll know how miracles will come into our lives, for words are too shallow and poor to narrate its happening. ;)

6. Books come in many forms. We could read when we're busy too!
No one is ever too busy to read. If we are practising hectic lifestyles, audiobooks can conveniently replace. So long as we make reading part of our lives, we'll keep on finding ways to bring it on. That's where will kick in.

Attached are quotes come from writers and well-known people who enjoy reading. By reading these quotes, We are able to feel what they feel too for reading is contagious, so are thoughts and visions for life.

Reading to children is like bringing them to travel around the world. Mild joy is simultaneously shared within when reading happens in a family. Until becoming a grownup, he or she will understand the core of a story that you have once told verbally. You'll then realise you have given your child everything (wisdom, moral values, positive influence @ impact etc) you should as a parent via reading.

Before last, Ker would like readers to comment below, sharing your thoughts on which book are you reading to keep yourself rejoicing in hope during the quarantine and which part/ session of the book is your favourite?

Ker will blog soon. See you in a bit. ;)

Introduction 1.3: Text Types: Crosswords

What is it? A crossword is a game in which you have to fit words across and downwards into spaces with numbers in a square diagram. 纵横字谜;纵横填...
